Crl Announces New Insurers And Adds To Commercial Offering
CRL, one of the UK’s leading ten-year structural defects insurance providers, is growing its services in the commercial property sector with the appointment of Alpha Insurance A/S, and Casualty & General Insurance Company (Europe) Limited (CGICE), for its residential, mixed-use, commercial developer and self-builder clients. These appointments forge two further routes to market and both Alpha and CGICE, are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to write policies in the UK.
As part of its aspiring five-year business plan to significantly increase its share of the structural defects and construction related insurance market, these two new appointments enable CRL to offer clients even greater choice and flexibility. They enable CRL to provide the same levels of protection and compensation, with increased flexibility around product offerings and Policy structures.
CRL has announced these relationships in conjunction with the firm’s comprehensive re-brand which will position it firmly as one of the leading European structural defects insurance providers. With existing offices in the UK, Spain, Ireland CRL intends to open further European offices in the coming months.
Steve Mansour, CRL’s CEO, commented: “Month on month CRL continues to achieve record growth of accepted policies and our ambitious growth plans are coming to fruition. The strategic relationships with our new Insurers will further strengthen and extend the reach of the relationships we’re building.
“Our new service offerings will also enable us to develop our commercial work further with addition of schools, offices, churches and industrial projects to our growing commercial portfolio of real estate projects.
“Our growing team of ambitious staff, internal surveyors, in-house underwriting and our commitment to investment in systems and processes are supporting the fast growth and we look forward to making further business announcements this year.”
