CV-Library one of UK's Top Private Companies

CV-Library, the UK’s leading independent job board, is proud to be ranked as number 49 in the Sunday Times’ Profit Track 100. Compiled and researched by Fast Track, this accolade recognises Britain’s top private companies with fastest growing profits over the last three years.

CV-Library is thrilled to announce its impressive recent position as number 49 in the Sunday Times’ Profit Track 100. Having made a profit of £6.3 million in 2014, thanks to new customers and repeat business, it’s unsurprising that its growing profits are recognised within this prestigious national league table.

Typically, a Profit Track 100 company is medium-sized and operated by founders or family directors, consisting of between 100 to 1000 staff and making an average 3 year profit growth ranging from 40% pa to 200% pa.

It’s easy to see how CV-Library meets this Profit Track 100 criteria. Lee Biggins founded the CV-Library concept back in 2000 and has now developed his team from the original one-man set-up to a workplace consisting of 111 employees (and still growing), led by Lee himself. With an average growth of 40% year on year and an expansion into the United States, this company is a great example of a home-grown business which is continuing to boom.

Biggins, Managing Director at CV-Library explained: “Receiving recognition within the Profit Track 100 is an exciting achievement for the business. This past year has seen numerous changes for us, including; our expansion into America with the launch of Resume Library; the acquisition of a second office building in Fleet; and an increase of 14% in the number of staff since December 2014. Being able to have accomplished all of this and to still achieve this position in the Profit Track 100 is a perfect example of the hard-work that has been put in by the team at CV-Library.”

This recent position on the Profit Track 100 is a symbol of the record-breaking growth that this company is achieving, which is expected to pick up even more speed in the coming months.
