Leading the way on employee engagement

A North East Company Thinkube who developed “thinkchange” an innovative software application has been short listed for a National Excellence Award for the Best IT System.

The Housing Excellence Awards now in their 12th year, highlights and rewards those who are leading the way in the social housing sector. The event has grown from strength to strength over the years, with ever-increasing audiences and a consistently high calibre of nominations.

Ian Conway Managing Director of Thinkube said “This is fantastic news and helps to highlight our software application which can help improve the bottom line in any business”.

Increasing employee engagement is seen as a major priority by UK leaders. In the latest CBI Harvey Nash employment trends survey (July 2012) showed that securing high levels of employee engagement was the top workforce priority for UK businesses, ahead even of containing labour costs. This year the Head of the Civil Service identified increasing engagement among public sector employees as a priority.

Ian Conway said “The two biggest challenges facing businesses today are firstly, how to get more for the same or less and secondly innovating to stay ahead of competition. I firmly believe that “thinkchange” can address both of these challenges and help support a powerful organisation wide innovation culture”

The winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony in Manchester on the 6th May.
