Barnsley Football Club sign new kit partnership with PUMA
Barnsley Football Club announced today a new four-year Technical Kit partnership with PUMA and Genesis Sports.
Beginning at the start of the 2015/16 season, the new contract states that PUMA supply the club with their Technical and Replica Kit and Training wear, as reported on Barnsley Football Club’s official website.
For more than six decades, PUMA has been designing, developing, selling and marketing footwear, apparel and accessories and in addition to football, offers performance and sport-inspired lifestyle products in categories such as running, training and fitness, golf and motorsports.
The partnership will be managed by Genesis Sports, PUMA Teamsports licensee in the UK and Ireland since 2002.
The League one football club’s operations partnership with Just Sport Pro Club will terminate on May 31, 2015.
The launch of the 2015/16 season Barnsley home kit, which will be on sale, in-store, and online in early June, will coincide with the opening of the new Barnsley FC retail store.This will be followed by the away kit launch, set to be on sale, in-store, online early July.
The PUMA Group owns the brands PUMA, Cobra Golf, Tretorn, Dobotex and Brandon. The company distributes its products in more than 120 countries, employs more than 10,000 people worldwide, and is headquartered in Herzogenaurach/Germany.

“This new Technical Kit deal once again demonstrates the significant progress that has been made commercially here at Barnsley Football Club.
“We’ve been working closely over last few months with PUMA and Genesis Sports to design and produce a great quality Kit and Training-wear range that our supporters will be really proud of.”
