Care in Safe Hands expands bedroom capacity with NatWest funding
A care home which provides support for adults with learning disabilities has expanded after acquiring a second property with a funding deal supported by NatWest.
Located in Bootle, Care in Safe Hands can now offer an additional number of bedrooms while providing full-time care to residents, which includes help with learning and development.
After operating at capacity, the the management team at Care in Safe Hands decided to purchase a second building located next to the home in order to increase the number of bedrooms available from 16 to 23.
As well as the expansion, Care in Safe Hands has been awarded the Gold Standard Investors in People mark which recognises the business’ continuing commitment to providing a high quality service which benefits users as well as staff.
Jean Carroll, manager of Care in Safe Hands, said: “We are committed to providing an outstanding level of service which has been recognised by our recent Investors in People mark. As a care provider we aim to do the best we can for our residents as well as staff.”
Since opening in 2009, Care in Safe Hands has been a NatWest customer, and when the time came to obtain funding for the expansion, Jean turned to NatWest relationship director David Hall for funding support. David specialises in supporting businesses within the healthcare sector.
Jean said: “David was fabulous to work with. He understands the needs of care businesses like ours and finds funding solutions to meet our needs and supports our long-term goals.”
David added: “I was delighted to support Care in Safe Hands with the expansion project. The management team are committed to providing a service which benefits the local community and I wish them every success for the future.”
