ForceManager Wins Place on Red Herring Europe List
ForceManager, the specialist in mobile sales management software, has been selected as a winner in the Red Herring Europe awards, recognizing Europe’s leading private companies and celebrating startups’ technological innovation across their respective industries.
Red Herring’s Top 100 Europe list is a mark of distinction for identifying promising new companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring’s editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Skype, YouTube and eBay would change the way we live and work.
The award follows the recent launch of ForceManager’s mobile CRM application for Android smartwatches, which integrates with the ForceManager smartphone application to further enhance field sales staff performance and efficiency, which the company presented at this year’s Mobile World Congress. The solution will also be available on the Apple iWatch later this year.
“Selecting startups that show the most potential for disruption and growth is never easy,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “We looked at hundreds and hundreds of candidates from all across the continent, and after much thought and debate, narrowed the list down to the Top 100 Winners. Each year, the competition gets tougher but we believe ForceManager demonstrates the vision, drive and innovation that define a Red Herring Top 100.”
Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluated the company on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technological innovation, management quality, overall business strategy and market penetration. This assessment was complemented by a review of the track records and standings of similar startups in the same verticals, allowing Red Herring to see past the “buzz” and make the list a valuable instrument of discovery and advocacy for the most promising new business models in Europe.
Oscar Macia, ForceManager’s CEO, commented: “To make the Red Herring Top 100 list is a huge achievement, as many of the companies that they have previously recognized have gone on to be global technological powerhouses. We are very proud to receive the award and will continue to work hard to grow the company and deliver real value to our customers and partners.”
ForceManager was founded in Spain in 2011 and now operates in 14 countries across the globe. It supplies mobile sales management solutions to companies in a range of sectors, including automotive, construction, cosmetics and telecoms. The Red Herring award is ForceManager’s second accolade, having collected the B2B Technology Company of the Year award at the South Summit Festival, a leading event for start-ups in Southern Europe.
