Amazon Top Tips for Saving Money
Most people know that Amazon is pretty cheap already for many products. However, what a lot of people do not know, is that there are ways that you can save even more money. Even though you are getting a discounted item, it does not mean that you should not do more to see whether you can save even more money.
The first top is to use a cashback offer. There are a number of sites online which will give you cashback when you click a link on their site to Amazon. This means that once you have made your purchase, as long as it tracks, you will get some money back. This could be a percentage of what you have spent or a bonus payment. Sometimes it may be free postage or some other offer. The offers do change though and so it is always worth taking a look if there is one. It may be that they are on specific types of items, but these will change.
A second way to save money is to use Amazon voucher codes. These can be found on many different websites and they will be a promotional code number that you can type into Amazon at checkout to get a discount. These can vary form free postage to a percentage discount and it will depend on what deals they are doing. Amazon discount codes do run out, so it is worth visiting a voucher code site to check before every purchase as you never know whether there will be the opportunity to get a discount or not.
Another way to save money on Amazon is to compare sellers. You will find that for most products on Amazon there is a list of possible sellers. If you click on this you will find that the price they are charging, both for the item and for postage will vary. Quite often Amazon will be the cheapest, but not always. It is good to compare them just in case.
Some seller will sell items second hand on Amazon at a discount. If you do not mind getting a second hand item then this could be a really good way to save money. It will depend on what the item is, as to how much you might save, but it is worth checking over what is available and what condition it is in. You may find that if you visit the website of the seller, you could get the postage cheaper. Amazon do not allow its seller to sell their items cheaper anywhere else but the postage may differ.
To save money on postage with Amazon then spend over their threshold for free postage or join Amazon Prime. This is available free for a trial for many people, so it may be worth trying it out for free. Once the trial is up you will be automatically charged for future subscriptions but you can cancel this beforehand. Buying from marketplace sellers will still attract a postage charge though.
