#Voom Pitch To Rich Underwear Brand campaigns at No.10
London based underwear brand Caught Short! “panties-to-go” WHEN YOU NEED A SPARE PAIR ® took Sir Richard Branson’s advice to make “noise” literally by stopping traffic and turning heads on Westminster Bridge and at No.10 Downing Street where they handcuffed models dressed as Virgin Atlantic air hostesses, minus their skirts, to the railings!
MD Debbie Bunn whose business received a government funded Start Up Loan said “I organised this happening to raise brand awareness and increase votes for our entry into Virgin Media’s Pitch to Rich 2015 competition”.
Tying in perfectly with the election, the models carried placards bearing slogans VOTE CAUGHT SHORT!, #PANTYPOWER and #WHAT WOMEN WANT!
During his campaigning David Cameron asked “Where are all the Start Ups, why aren’t they knocking on No. 10’s door? I’m pumped up!” well Caught Short were there on Thursday!
After failing to get arrested, despite posing and parading around for quite awhile, they paid a visit to Virgin Media’s HQ where they raised a few eyebrows, waving banners and handing out flyers.
Voting ends today and the 150 entrants with the most votes across three categories: Start Up, New Things and Growth will go through to the next stage. The shortlist will be announced tomorrow, 6th May.
