Lawnrite franchise launches in Conway
The latest franchise of lawn care specialists Lawnrite has opened for business in Conway.
Lawnrite’s newest addition to its family is owned and managed by James Vaughan, who also has a new addition to his own family as his second child was born a mere three weeks after he took on the franchise.
James, who is 25 and lives in Rhuddlan, is making his first foray into the world of lawn care having previously worked in landscape gardening in North Wales for the last five years. He had always wanted to work in the industry having seen lawn care companies working locally.
“I decided to look into changing my career to lawn care and came across Lawnrite on the internet when doing some research. I liked the sound of what they offered with brand new territories available close to where I live and already work, and the fact I could offer customers a complete lawn care package really appealed to me, especially as I can work flexibly around my young family,” said James.
“So I went along to the company’s Discover Day in October and was really impressed with Jeff, the managing director, and the amount of help Lawnrite could give me as a new franchisee. Now I can’t wait to get started helping local home owners get the lawn of their dreams, and be the owner of a successful, profitable business.”
Lawnrite was set up by managing director Jeff Williams in 2014 after he took a brief break from the industry. He was involved for over a decade with the UK’s biggest player in the lawn care market where he successfully franchised the operation. At its peak, the business had over 200 national franchisees servicing more than 400,000 customers.
Jeff Williams said: “It’s fantastic that James has come on board as a one of our first franchisees. Lawnrite is very much about working together and, through our support and knowledge, I am confident James will develop his franchise into a thriving business. He is a determined young man with a passion to make a better living for his growing family.”
