Digital apprentice joins award winning marketing agency

South Yorkshire based, full-service marketing agency Talk to Media has strengthened its digital offering by making a new appointment.

Matthew Limbert (17) from Goole has joined as the agency’s first digital apprentice which will see him working across a diverse spectrum of client accounts on social media and Google AdWords campaigns.

Stacey Morgan, pr and social media manager at Talk to Media said: “It’s a very exciting time for Talk to Media as we once again strengthen our team. Matthew is our first digital apprentice and he brings with him an abundance of enthusiasm to learn the key skills involved in digital marketing.

“Matthew will be assisting with client social media campaigns including advertising techniques, looking at social media search and targeting software as well as the fundamentals of Google AdWords - learning from the best through the official Google Partner scheme. “

Matthew previously had a short spell with a well known motor dealership in Doncaster where he worked on their website updating and editing vehicle information - but social media was always his dream career path.

Matthew said: “I am over the moon to have joined such a renowned marketing agency to forge my career in digital marketing. Talk to Media is a Google Partner and has very talented individuals within its ranks that I can learn the tricks of the trade from.

“This really is the digital age and I think it’s the perfect time for an apprentice like myself to get into the industry. Talk to Media has a great selection of clients that I will get the chance to work with - giving me the perfect opportunity to lay the foundations for my future as the industry continues to develop.”

As well as working predominantly at the Doncaster agency, Matthew will also have days with the spent with the 3aaa Academy team in Leeds where he will undergo training leading to assessments in digital marketing in order to pass his one year advanced apprenticeship.
