50 jobs at risk as North West steelwork company calls in administrators
Henry Smith Constructional Engineers has called in administrators after battling for several weeks to save the firm.
Manchester corporate recovery and insolvency firm Leonard Curtis will look for interested companies to buy the business and assets of the Winsford-based steelwork firm.
The company has a turnover of £10m and 50 employees, 33 of which were sent home last month as it tried to sort a new financing deal.
There was no comment from Leonard Curtis.
