Huddersfield Town appoints TRUVAPE as newest commercial partner
Huddersfield Townannounced today that TRUVAPE, a Wigan based e-cigarette brand, is the football club’s newest commercial partner.
TRUVAPE, which specialises in the design and manufacture of e-liquids, electronic cigarettes and accessories, has seen significant growth in recent times due to customer demand for an alternative to smoking.
E-cigarettes do provide the nicotine, but they contain no tobacco or tar, which is what causes most of the health issues that result from smoking.
Lee Bryan, managing director of TRUVAPE, said: “We are delighted to be joining forces with Huddersfield Town.
“We look forward to working closely with the Club to not only support them in their future success as a team, but also to help educate their fan base about making healthy lifestyle choices.
“While the best option is obviously to never smoke at all, we hope that the provision of club-branded vaporizers will assist the fans that do already smoke to move to an alternative that is less harmful than traditional cigarettes.”
Sean Jarvis, Huddersfield Town’s commercial director, added: “We have always been firmly committed to helping our fans make informed choices around health and fitness.
“We are delighted to welcome TRUVAPE as the latest commercial partner of the Club.”
