Regus Express Hub opens at Hilton Manchester Airport
Regus, the global workspace provider, has opened one of its innovative Regus Express locations at Hilton Manchester Airport. The new generation workplace, part of the expanding Regus network in the North West, offers local firms and people working on the move a working environment that suits their ever-more flexible working lifestyles.
This is only the second Regus Express to be opened in a hotel location and it brings a new dimension to Hilton Manchester Airport’s existing range of meeting and conference facilities. The site features a drop-in business lounge with individual workstations called Thinkpods, comfortable seats with laptop stands and phone chargers, as well as free, secure Wi-Fi. Additionally, a suite of high specification meeting rooms seating two to four people is available to book by the hour.
Demand for ‘third place’ work locations is growing steadily, driven by increasing mobility and the rise of remote, flexible and multi-location working. Research from Regus shows that 40% of UK workers spend at least 2.5 days per week working outside of their main office. Similarly, a third of UK employers are offering their staff more flexible working options. Technology makes it possible to ‘work anywhere’, yet most people prefer an office-style environment to remain productive, motivated and disciplined.
Users of Regus Express at Hilton Manchester Airport will include hotel guests; business travellers; local and national businesses using the facility as a convenient meeting point; and local home-workers seeking a refreshing alternative to working from home.
The launch of Regus Express at Hilton Manchester Airport is part of a wider roll-out of Regus ‘third place’ locations around the UK, which caters to the flexible working trend. These sites are designed to offer a more professional and motivating environment than a home office, as well as a more cost-effective alternative to a traditional fixed office.
Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus, comments: “The opening of our second hotel location testifies to the need for bespoke and dedicated business spaces that match today’s flexible workforce. We know that more and more people are working flexibly, instead of the traditional 9-5 in the office, and we are seeing month-on-month growth in interest in Regus Express as retailers, transport operators and universities all switch on to the commercial opportunity presented by the mobile work and business travel market.
“We are confident that this latest site will prove popular with business travellers and local firms alike.”
The Regus Express network in Britain already covers motorway service areas, retail parks, shopping centres and airports.
The Regus Express workplace will be located at Hilton Hotel, Manchester Airport, Outwood Lane, Manchester, M90 4WP
There are two ways to access Regus Express centres:
Pay-as-you-go access priced at £5 per hour or £10 per day.
Regus Businessworld membership at £35 per month, which provides drop-in access to the business lounges at each of Regus’ 320 UK locations including Regus Express
