Police Mutual recognised at Marketing Excellence Awards
Police Mutual, one of the fastest growing financial services organisations in the UK, was a finalist at The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Marketing Excellence Awards in London on 27 April in two categories – Brand Management and Innovation.
For over 140 years, Police Mutual which is run on a commercial but not-for-profit basis, has helped serving and retired Police Officers, staff and their families with their finances. In 2014 the organisation initiated several campaigns to communicate more with new and existing members and, as David Wright, Sales and Marketing Director describes it “to bring our story to life.”
“We were delighted to have been a finalist in such a competitive landscape. It was a huge achievement” says Wright. “Although it’s the marketing side of the business that has been recognised in these awards, it really is a company-wide achievement as the business has undergone a real transformation in the last few years” he continues.
In November 2014, Police Mutual won both the Digital Marketing and Integrated Consumer campaigns categoriesand was commended in the Customer Loyalty & Retention category inthe Financial Services Forum Awards.
