North East chartered surveying firm expands regional network with new office investment

Independent North East chartered surveying firm Bradley Hall is set to open a new estate agency office to facilitate its growth.

The business is investing in a fourth office in its regional network, opening a site in Narrowgate, Alnwick on Saturday May 23.

The investment adds to offices already in Durham, Gosforth and Grey Street, Newcastle, reflecting the growing level of activity in the residential and commercial property markets across the region.

Moreover, the company is strengthening its management team. Richard Rafique, who joined the firm as an associate director from JW Wood, Durham, around 16 months ago has been promoted to board director.

It is reported that Richard will continue to perform general practice surveying duties but will also take a lead on valuations.

Based in Bradley Hall’s Grey Street office, Richard will strengthen the firm’s overall Newcastle team while also supporting the board. He joins Peter Bartley, Neil Hart, Geoff Davis and practice founder Graham Hall on the main board.

Less than two months ago the business strengthened its Gosforth residential sales operation by recruiting new people and expanding from old premises on Salter’s Road onto the high street.

Neil Hart, Bradley Hall director, said: “These recent moves and our new Alnwick office opening reflect our confidence in the North East market. We are seeing growth at all levels of the business and from all offices.

“Richard has played an important role in our growth since his arrival. Grey Street and commercial activity now reflects more than half of our turnover.

“We are seeing a rise in both instructions and transactions from our offices in Gosforth and Durham and the trend only seems to be growing.

“This is an exciting time for Bradley Hall but also our customers who are seeing a property market that is moving and some good value transactions.”
