Two Deals at Bond Court Leeds

Hot on the heels of the letting to Excello Law, Wilton Developments has secured a second letting in short succession at 2 Bond Court

Following the letting of 1,000 sq ft to Excello Law, Gardiner & Theobald has taken the whole of the second floor (2,450 sq ft) by way of a five year lease. This only leaves the third floor of 2,450 sq ft remaining. The developer recently refreshed the reception area which has proved popular with tenants. The building sits on the redeveloped Bond Court square, the only pedestrianised plaza in the city’s Central Business District. It lies between Park Row, Greek Street, East Parade and Infirmary Street and is overlooked by the proposed new £12 million 4 star Dakota boutique hotel, founded by Malmaison creator Ken McCulloch.

Jason Stowe from Wilton Developments said; “Bond Court square has undergone a renaissance. Wilton Developments and Leeds City Council invested in the refurbishment of the square to deliver a more contemporary and usable area, including a petanque pitch, chess boards and seating. This in addition to the two quality coffee houses on the ground floor of 2 Bond Court and the complimentary investment in a number of surrounding office buildings means it is fast becoming the little jewel in the business district it always had the potential to be.”

2 Bond Court underwent a multimillion pound refurbishment and offers 12,200 sq ft of exceptional quality space over five floors in suites of 1,000 sq ft upwards. Excello Law and Gardiner & Theobald join high profile occupiers such as Liberty Mutual Insurance, RMI, Directorbank, Costa Coffee and La Bottega Milanese.

Matthew Mills of Gardiner & Theobald’s Leeds office commented “2 Bond Court was a natural choice for our relocation, the building is well located and the quality is unrivalled.”

Property agent Elizabeth Ridler from Knight Frank acted on behalf of Wilton Developments. She said: “No.2 Bond Court is unique, it is very rare to see suites of this size delivered to such a high quality specification in a prime location. There has been no compromise, offering facilities and access for a flagship headquarter through to smaller space occupiers.

“As a result we have managed to secure lettings swiftly to high profile occupiers and we have a number of interested parties for the only remaining floor.”
