Environmental consultant utilises Open Space

Environmental consultant is continuing to reap the benefits of the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) membership.

Sharon Lashley, Director of Enviro UK Consultants, provides environmental consultancy and support. After viewing the Open Space at the BIC Sharon took a membership to use the co-working space.

Sharon now spends the time in the contemporary facility, planning and organising courses. Sharon is running courses for businesses in the region called “Waste Smart.” Companies attending the course learn how to save money and become more sustainable.

Sharon’s most recent clients include Johnson Matthey and Dow Chemical. Sharon said:

“We are proud to be providing Waste Smart training not just in the North East but nationwide. It is important that businesses are aware of the legal obligations, hidden costs and the environmental impacts of sending waste to landfill.”

Sharon added: “The BIC have been instrumental in every stage of developing my business and are great in helping me to promote my courses.”

Director of operations, David Howell, added: “It is great to see Enviro UK Consultants continuing to achieve success in this area.

“The BIC has over 140 tenants on site from a wide variety of different sectors. It is wonderful to see businesses from all over the BIC and the wider business community benefitting from Sharon’s courses.”
