The Football League teams with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK ahead of next season

As the 2014/15 football season comes to an end, clubs around the region are already preparing for next year’s campaign.

In recent weeks, Leeds United launched the 2015/16 season ticket campaign, and introduceda new executive director, the former Hull City chairman Adam Pearson, to the club’s fans.

In addition, just yesterday Rotherham United unveiled that Balreed, a Wakefield-based document and print technology firm, isthe official sponsorof the 2015/2016 club’s away shirt.

The next big announcement for next season has come from entire The Football League organization, which just confirmed a new partnershipwith Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK (FCA UK).

As part of the new two-year deal, which initially begins at this weekend’s Sky Bet Play-Off Finals at Wembley Stadium, FCA UK will make a scheme available to all 72 Football League Clubs with the aim of increasing awareness of FCA vehicles through online campaigns, football ground activity and local dealer promotions.

Shaun Harvey, the chief executive of The Football League, said: “We are delighted to be entering into a partnership with a leading international brand such as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The company’s range of vehicles will be attractive to every football fan in the country and it is very encouraging to see another high calibre company wanting to invest in our competitions, especially such a vibrant brand that promises to engage with The Football League fanbase”.

Karl Howkins, deputy managing director of FCA UK, added: “This is a fantastic opportunity for both Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK and The Football League. We are enjoying considerable success with other football and sports cooperation and I am sure this latest partnership with The Football League will bring us similar results.”
