Stafforce Recruitment aims for £200m with the launch of two new branches

Rotherham-headquartered Stafforce Recruitment has established itself as Yorkshire’s leader recruiter after opening two new branches with hopes of achieving sales of £200m.

The firm opened offices at new locations in Ipswich and Carlisle this month, which brings its national network to 30 on-site operations and branch locations.

Stafforce has now launched six total branches in 2015, including the January openings of Doncaster, Sheffield, Wolverhampton and Docklands in London as private sector hiring across the UK increased.

The two latest launches are part of the firm’s quest to hit a turnover of £200m by 2020.

Stafforce’s Ipswich office, located on Orwell Place in the city, develops on an on-site operation that the recruiter has at sushi manufacturer ichiban UK, based in Stowmarket.

As well as assisting ichiban UK, the new office will work with other businesses in the wider Suffolk area.

The firm’’s Carlisle office, based on Lowther Stree, will supply temporary and permanent staff, from first time job seekers to semi-skilled workers, to the commercial and industrial sectors, food manufacturing, general manufacturing and more.

Tony Boorman, the Yorkshire company’s director, said: “Stafforce Recruitment has some truly ambitious growth plans for the next five years and that includes hitting sales of £200m. Last year we turned over £66m and this year we are forecasting £81m, so there is a lot of work to do, but through the judicious targeting of areas where we can launch new branches and a strategic approach to M&As, everyone in the business is confident we can achieve it.

“The branches in Carlisle and Ipswich bring our national network to 30, which is a milestone in itself and there are others in the pipeline that will see the Stafforce brand grow in strength and number across the UK.”

Mr Boorman added: “There is always a source of pride in helping local people find jobs while at the same time meeting the expectations of your clients,” he said.

“Ipswich and Carlisle are beginning to achieve that already and as we continue down our expansion path, we hope to bring that kind of service to other towns across the UK.”
