Swinton’s Lowry Mill secures two new lettings
Canning O’Neill, acting on behalf of Vanguard Holding has secured two lettings at Lowry Mill in Swinton, Greater Manchester.
Children’s leisurewear and accessories’ importer, Leisurewear International, has signed up to 5,000 sq ft on a five year lease.
Established in Manchester for over 20 years, the company has relocated from Salbec House in Salford to accommodate its further growth.
In a separate deal, leading IT consultancy, Italik, has taken 1,240 sq ft on the first floor on a five-year lease. Lowry Mill is the second office for the company, which is based in Wetherby.
The lettings come after the former Victorian mill was fully restored in 2012 offering 80,000 sq ft high quality office accommodation in suites ranging from 1,000 sq ft.
Leisurewear International’s managing director, Yamin Ibgui said: “The move to Lowry Mill marks a period of growth for the business.
“The team at Lowry Mill has been very attentive to our requirements and the fact that our accommodation has been designed around our specific needs has made Lowry Mill an ideal solution.”
Italik’s managing director, Robert Field said “With continued business growth we were keen to open a second office and it made sense for us to cross the Pennines, Lowry Mill offered us the advantage of an ideal location, excellent facilities and accommodation set out to our specific requirements”.
Director of Canning O’Neill, joint agents for the scheme with Knight Frank, Mark Canning, said: “Vanguard has really gone the extra mile in creating a working environment which supports business growth and where employees will want to come and work.
“Everything from the building’s impressive design and on-site gym and restaurant facilities to the location and transport network mean that Lowry Mill is hard to beat for vibrant businesses looking to grow.”
