YESSS Electrical open 87th branch in Grimsby

Wakefield-based electrical wholesaler YESSS Electrical has just opened the doors to its 87th branch.

The new store, covering 5,000 sq.ft., is located at Unit 6C and 6D, Europa Park, Grimsby, following a £200k refurbishment of an existing building.

The Grimsby branch is the wholesaler’s sixth store in Yorkshire, and has created eight new jobs, which will likely increase after the store is firmly established in the local area.

Launched in 2012, YESSS Electrical launched in 2012 and is now one of the UK’s fastest growing companies.

After opening over 86 branches in just one year, YESSS Electrical is the fourth largest electrical wholesaler in the UK, creating 800 jobs and achieving turnover of more than £160m.

Earlier this month, YESSS also launched ‘YESSS Book’, a 500 plus page brochure featuring over 3,000 products that are available in all of its branches. The wholesaler’s aim is to provide customers a consistent and transparent pricing structure, regardless of location or whether customers purchase online or in store.

Branch manager Liam Staples said: “YESSS Electrical is a dynamic and forward thinking company that is transforming the electrical wholesale industry by focussing on what YESSS stands for - Your Electrical Supplies, Service and Solutions.

“We’re really keen for local people – both tradesmen and the general public – and those from further afield working in the area, to come down and see what we have to offer. There will be our usual combination of product displays, promotions and special offers, and outstanding customer service to ensure that customers get exactly what they are looking for.”
