allpay creates more than 40 jobs across business

Technology innovator and Living Wage employer pursuing top British talent to fill new roles in all departments, from IT to wine buying

Following a period of significant growth and investment in its Herefordshire-based facility, allpay Limited is calling for candidates of all backgrounds to fill more than 40 roles created across every division of the business.

The company will be hosting an open day on Saturday 6th June where it is inviting experienced professionals, as well as school/college leavers and university graduates, to attend and discover more about potential careers.

As one of Hereford’s largest and leading employers, allpay has already doubled its workforce since 2012 to 300 members of staff, with an ambition to grow by a further 200 by 2017. At the heart of the recruitment drive is allpay’s payments and card manufacturing division, particularly a number of roles within IT engineering, development and digital, as the payments market experiences unprecedented growth thanks to the continued adoption of new channels including contactless and mobile.

allpay has also announced there will also be significant opportunities for people seeking apprenticeships, jobs and careers within its other divisions – including allpay Mobile and Rude Wines – and across the entire headquarters facility, as a result of the increase in staff numbers.

Steve Foulger, Head of HR at allpay commented: “We are particularly looking for exceptionally talented technically-minded candidates at all stages of their career to see what allpay has to offer. This is not only a rare opportunity to play a significant role in the ongoing development and innovation within the payments industry, but as Hereford’s only Living Wage employer we also offer some of the most progressive career packages in the local area and industry.

“We are welcoming people to apply from all over Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, as well as talent from elsewhere in the country looking to progress their careers with a growth business innovating in its space, and of course an exceptional team of like-minded professionals,” he added.

allpay’s payments division provide electronic payment solutions to more than a third of UK local authorities, as well as educational institutions, and other local and central government departments, handling more than 50 million transactions totaling over £5 billion annually. Its payments and Card Services products are designed to provide bigger choice for citizens, tenants and students, fostering financial and social inclusion as well as reducing debt. In May 2015, allpay launched its new prepaid platform, enabling users such as Universal Credit recipients to pay rent and bills, and other expenses, without the need for a bank account.

allpay’s Recruitment Open Day takes place all day on Saturday 6th June at its headquarters in Hereford. To register their attendance, candidates are asked to book their place online at www.allpay.net/careers or by emailing hr@allpay.net, providing their name, contact details and an up-to-date copy of a CV.
