Cumbrian hotel taken over by Another Place
The Rampsbeck, which overlooks Ullswater has been taken over by Another Place group.
The 19 bedroom hotel is set in the Lake District National Park.
Another Place group was founded by Will Ashworth who is aiming to have a collection of destination hotels.
Will Ashworth said to In Cumbria: “We are very excited by the opportunity at Rampsbeck.
“The hotel is in great hands under the guidance of General Manager Alison Mathewson and Head Chef Ben Wilkinson and we are looking forward to building on their work with some of our own ideas, appealing to both current and new visitors - and always staying true to the spirit of Ullswater.
“With summer fast approaching, we have a few immediate plans to build the experience for both guests and those looking for some great local food.”
