North West Businesses Support Sporting Ambition at Bolesworth
Major brands and businesses from across the North West, the UK and around the world have shown their support for Bolesworth International’s five star ambitions by supporting the 2015 event in Cheshire.
The glamour and drama of Bolesworth International is approaching, as global stars of equestrian sport head to rural Cheshire for 4 days of world-class sporting competition and networking. European partners Ashford Farm, based in Belgium and highly regarded for breeding, finding and producing top-level sport horses, are the title sponsor of the event. Other major sponsors of the event lining up for their piece of the action include Redrow Homes Limited, IFX, Cazenove Capital Management, Ashford Farm, Equiline, Halsall Electrical and Equestrian.com.
Nina Barbour, Show President of Bolesworth International, said:
“We are very fortunate to have so many fantastic brands and businesses supporting the event and our ambitions for the North West region, as well as international partners and brands who can provide us with global reach through their sponsorship. We are really looking forward to working alongside them and welcoming them to enjoy the spectacle of this year’s show.”
The festival is a global celebration of equestrian sport that attracts over 30,000 visitors to Bolesworth Castle, home to the Barbour family for over 150 years. Horses and riders from all over the world will compete for a share of the impressive £250,000 prize fund. Happening just two months before the 2015 European Championships in Germany, when Great Britain will attempt to secure the prized Rio 2016 Olympics qualification. Confirmed riders heading to Cheshire to compete include household names and Olympians such as Scott Brash, world number one until very recently, as well as Nick Skelton and US rider Laura Kraut.
Partners involved will benefit from hours of television coverage across BBC, Sky News and Sky Sports as well as 4 action-packed days of luxury hospitality. Friday 19th June will see leaders of the North West business community gather for the popular Business Lunch taking place at the show, with guest speaker John Timpson.
Companies involved will even be able to enter a team member into the ‘Gladiators Knock-Out Competition’ as TV favourites Hunter, Ace, Lightning and Jet reunite for the first time in 15 years to compete against willing contenders in a family entertainment spectacle, on Saturday 20th June. This event will be hosted by famous TV referee John Anderson as well as supermodel and horsewoman Jodie Kidd.
Bolesworth have also confirmed plans for a new CSI3* show to be held at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on 1-3 January 2016. This event will kick off with a spectacular New Year’s Eve party and has been modelled on successful European events such as the Gucci Masters, and will be the first of its kind in the UK. With a packed schedule of world-class sports action and family entertainment planned, it is hoped that the event will attract visitors who are new to the sport or perhaps have very little knowledge of it to come along and enjoy a ground-breaking new event in the city; and there are still major sponsorship options available.
