Training Partnership Supports Learning
Training partnership between Brookhouse Training and Aspire Housing, the Staffordshire and Cheshire based housing association, gets civil engineering manager away from his desk and into a trade as he trains to become a gas engineer.
Mark Nicholls is the latest to benefit from this arrangement whereby trainee gas engineers complete a 30 day work placement programme with the housing association whilst working with their domestic heating installation, repairs, and servicing team.
Mark will complete a portfolio of evidence towards his final gas exam; which is a mandatory requirement to become a gas engineer, and graduate from Brookhouse Training where upon he will be able to register as a Gas Safe Registered gas engineer.
David Dumaresq-Lucas, Director at Brookhouse Training says: “It is important to us that our trainees feel supported and equipped to succeed and qualify as gas engineers. It is with thanks to Aspire Housing that we are able to offer Mark this opportunity as part of our Managed Learning Programme.”
Brookhouse Training is the UK’s leading gas, plumbing training and assessment specialist offering practical learning from within a bespoke state-of-the-art training centre based in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.
