iSmart Alarm arrives in Europe

iSmartAlarm, a brand specialising in home security, today arrives on the European market with innovative and simple to use products. Preferred Package, a modular security system

The Preferred Package is a complete security system comprising one central ‘brain’, two anti-intrusion sensors, one motion sensor and two remote controls.

You don’t need anybody to install it for you, there is no subscription and no maintenance cost – each module can easily be installed in a few minutes.

- CubeOne

The CubeOne is controlled from a distance using the free iSmartAlarm iOS and Android app.

Plugged into the user box, the CubeOne connects the different modules using radiofrequency and alerts you via email and notifications in real time in case of intrusion. If the system is activated, the CubeOne will trigger a resounding alarm.

Installation is simple and up to 80 modules can be added to the system.

- Motion sensors

Ideal for seeing if there is any activity in the house, the motion sensors connect wirelessly to the CubeOne. Each motion sensor can detect movement up to 100m in front of it and 2m above it. The user can be alerted by email even if there is only the slightest of movements! Don’t worry if you have any pets – anything less than 13kg will not be detected.

- ­Anti-intrusion sensor

The iSmartAlarm anti-intrusion sensor alerts the user in case of intrusion, and is ideally placed on the doors and windows of the house. The two magnets will send an alert when they are no longer in contact with each other, be that due to a badly closed window/door, or intrusion into the home. Powered by a button battery, the sensor is attached to the windows and doors.

- The remote control

The remote control allows those who do not have a smartphone to control their Preferred Package security system. Each member of the family can have one and either activate or deactivate the system from a distance of 100m. When a family member returns home, the system automatically recognises their remote and can inform the rest of the family that they have arrived home safely. The remote control can also engage ‘Alert’ mode, which sounds the alarm in case of emergency.

Independent HD security camera

iCamera Keep is a HD camera which allows you to keep a constant eye on your house, working either independently or with the Preferred Package security system.

iCamera Keep is simple to install and works with Wi-Fi. All you need to do is plug it into the mains and then connect it to the Wi-Fi using your smartphone.

It works using the free iOS and Android app, which allows it to integrate into the security system for those that have one.

iCamera Keep will alert the user in case of suspicious activity as it is equipped with a motion sensor and sound detector that will allow you to hear exactly what is going on in the house. This can even be configured to save photos and video if needed during both the day and the night due to the camera’s integrated night-vision.

Small and discreet, it will blend in perfectly with all interiors whilst continuing to survey the room, with a rotation of 350° and an incline of 40°.

A simple and intuitive application

The free iSmartAlarm app, available on iOS and Android, allows you to control the security system and alarm from a distance and receive alerts in real time.

It is intuitive and simple to use, and once the user account is created and the modules installed, the app offers four modes to the user:

- Activate: Each time you leave the house for a trip you can switch on all system modules.

-Deactivate: When you return home you can deactivate the system with a simple click.

- House: Ideal for during the night or if you just want to shut yourself away, ‘House’ mode allows you to enjoy your home in peace.

-Alert: You can engage ‘Alert’ mode to sound an alarm in the house in case of emergency or intruder.

An IFTTT compatible system

iSmartAlarm is compatible with the IFTTT platform. IFTTT allows you to create scenarios for the model: ‘if X happens then do Y’, and also create interoperability between objects and services that surround the user.

A multitude of programmes can be created, for example:

- If I am near my house, deactivate the system.

- At 8:00am, activate the system.

- If the sensors are activated, create events on Google calendar.

The Preferred Package security system is ready and available at Leroy Merlin, Boulanger and online at Amazon and the Apple Store for £169.99 (RRP).
