Leeds’ Grade II-listed Park Row House welcomes recruitment consultants Charlton Morris

Recruitment consultants Charlton Morris has just let a quality 3,846 sq ft office at the iconic Grade II-listed Park Row House in central Leeds.

The Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank advised on the move.

Charlton Morris, who are opening a new office in Leeds, are taking a 10-year lease at a rent of £19.50 per sq ft.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner specialising in office agency at Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “This letting is a ringing endorsement of Park Row House, one of the most iconic and elegant buildings within the professional core of Leeds. Its stunning Victorian façade marks it out as a prestigious historic building, but a comprehensive refurbishment inside has created an attractive contemporary office environment, while retaining the best original features.

“Charlton Morris are taking part of the second floor of this seven-floor building, but there are four high-quality air-conditioned suites remaining to lease, ranging from 2,054 sq ft to 4,939 sq ft. The flexible space provides opportunity for cellular, mixed or open plan layouts, according to needs, and all serviced by a beautifully-appointed reception.

“Park Row House is located on Park Row and is within five minutes’ walk of Leeds Station. Park Row is also a bus thoroughfare, so many services are available within a short walk of the building. Leeds is located at the head of the M1 motorway and has easy access to the M62 and A1 routes.

Elizabeth Ridler added: “Park Row marks the point at which the accepted office core and the retail area merge. So the best in food, drink and entertainment are close at hand, as are great retail hotspots. Trinity Leeds and the main shopping quarter is only a short walk away as is the civic quarter including Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds Museum, O2 Academy and Leeds Arena”.

Richard Fraser, joint agent of Carter Towler, added: “The comprehensive refurbishment of Park Row House has created a classic combination of the historic and the modern, which provides a unique offering to occupiers. The arrival of Charlton Morris underlines Park Row House’s excellent reputation.

“We are expecting strong interest in the remaining space at Park Row House. Its history, facilities and location makes the building a very attractive proposition for potential tenants.”
