Revealed: Brighton i360’s beachside conference facilities

Brighton i360 has released a sneak peak of its beachside conference centre, which will accommodate up to 1,000 conference guests.

A building at the base of the 162 metre tower will hold conference and events rooms, with room for between 10 and 1,000 guests, while overlooking the famous Brighton beach front.

The tower, which will stand 162-metres tall, will also have glass viewing pods fitted with a sky bar.

Meeting rooms at the Brighton i360 are suitable for between 10 to 300 people and are located in a separate suite away from the main public building.

Eleanor Harris, chief executive of the Brighton i360, said: “There is no other venue like this on the south coast and we have taken exceptional care to design these rooms and all the facilities to create somewhere truly special for conferencing and events, weddings and other parties.”

Work has already begun on the i360, with the concrete foundations laid earlier this month.

The tower, which will be situated on the axis of the city’s Grade II listed Regency Square, is expected to attract at least 700,000 visitors per year.

Construction will be completed this summer, with the tower officially opening in mid-2016
