Payzone announces myPayzone: Club supporting retail business owners

Payzone UK Ltd, Northwich: Payzone is delighted to announce that it is launching the myPayzone club, including access to a low-cost business account, which includes no fees for cash paid in at the Post Office® or direct debits. This really great deal is part of a new range of services planned to be available over the coming months, intended to help keep the running of a small retail business cost-effective. The account is serviced by Advanced Payment Solutions Ltd (APS) – a leading alternative provider to traditional banks. All retailers are welcome to join, even if they are not Payzone merchants.

Payzone requests that retailers register their interest by getting in touch.

Payzone UK Limited is a leading consumer payments acceptance network that helps retailers by:

· Driving footfall with consumer-facing transactions

· Supporting the running of a retail business with business services

Running a small retail business is hard work, commissions on transactions are often fairly modest and the costs of banking cash can be high.

Payzone’s research shows that retailers can be paying anywhere from £30-£100 a month in order to bank cash and in some cases a lot more. As a result, the new business account deal could provide very substantial savings for retailers. Payzone doesn’t intend to stop there, and will add new services to the myPayzone club over time, continually seeking out beneficial solutions for retailers. More news will follow as these become available.

Simon Newton, Commercial Director at Payzone said, “You don’t have to be a Payzone merchant to join myPayzone – we’re very happy to provide our business deals to other retailers too, including those who work with our competitors in processing consumer transactions.

“Retailers can also benefit from money back on a great broadband deal and benefit from other services which we will be launching soon. We don’t operate exclusive contracts and would be very happy for retailers to pick and choose whichever services suit them best, whether they’re from Payzone or our competitors.”

Rich Wagner, CEO Advanced Payment Solutions added, “Small retailers are a crucial driver of growth within the UK, but all too often struggle with the burden of daily administration, including access to basic banking and payment services. Payzone’s new initiative will go a long way to supporting this sector, and freeing business owners up to do what they do best – run their business. I am delighted to support this through our Cashplus Account, to help businesses streamline how they make and manage payments.”
