Hunter awards Elior five year contract at Exchange Quay
Hunter Real Estate Investment Managers (Hunter) has appointed site services partner, Elior, on a five year contract which will see Elior introduce and manage the major amenity offerings in the Exchange Quay office complex in Salford Quays.
Work is underway on a £10m refurbishment programme at Exchange Quay, where the six office buildings will be upgraded to Grade A specification and the public space completely remodelled.
Elior is working with Exchange Quay’s project team, principally AA Projects and Keppie Design.
As part of its contract Elior will also provide a hospitality service to Exchange Quay, which will cater for meetings, events and functions.
A key part of the works is the creation of a vibrant working area with facilities such as PureGym opening and restaurants, coffee places and a retail shop.
Fund manager at Hunter, Andrew Moffat, said; “We took the decision to appoint Elior to manage the new amenity offering due to the team’s strong track record and its understanding of what we are striving to create at Exchange Quay.
“Work is well underway in creating the high quality office accommodation and we want to ensure that the amenity offering is equally as impressive.
“It is exciting to be working up the plans for the new food and retail offer and to see how another key element of the development is progressing.”
Sales director at Elior UK, Tony Winterbottom, said; “We bring a passion for service to our clients and we are delighted to be working with the Exchange Quay team on this high profile development as part of its revival.
“Our new facilities will create the quality environment befitting of the investment into the whole project and will introduce a host of modern facilities for occupiers and visitors to enjoy.”
The full works at Exchange Quay are set to complete in Q3 2015.
