Esh Group Leading the Way

Esh Group are celebrating after the work of their Human Resources Team and the newly formed Esh Academy was recognised at the North East CIPD Awards held at the Hilton Hotel, Newcastle/Gateshead on the 11th June 2015.

The Esh Group won the HR&D Technology Award and were a worthy Finalist in the Employee Engagement Award category against an incredibly strong competitive field.

Esh Group who have a strong reputation for innovation and quality in the construction industry showed just how important a company wide commitment to staff engagement and training and development is to underpinning its success. The Company already employs 70 apprentices and is planning to increase this to 150 by 2017 and there is a clear focus on helping long term unemployed and disadvantaged people into employment.

Esh Group have implemented “thinkchange” a web based innovation platform to transform employee engagement in their business to support a bottom up, organisation wide innovation culture. This has developed a vibrant platform for employee ideas which are helping to improve all aspects of the business.
