Wetherby tech firm appointed as UK distributor for global storage vendor
A West Yorkshire technology company has been appointed as a key distributor of a world leading storage vendor, which will allow the company to see significant growth.
Wetherby-based ORIIUM, which provides Data Management & Infrastructure consultancy, including managed and hosted services (Cloud Dynamix), has been ranked as one of Deloitte UK’s top 50 fast-growing technology businesses for the past two years.
Imation Nexsan Technologies, who are giants in enterprise class, high density and power efficient storage platforms, selected ORIIUM to be its sole UK and Ireland distributor.
Ahead of this announcement, ORIIUM’s teams underwent in-depth technical training at Imation Nexsan Technologies HQ in Derby and can now offer pre-sales assistance, deployment, support and managed services.
Gaining distribution status from Imation Nexsan Technologies will allow ORIIUM to combine market leading data management technologies with optimised Nexsan Storage Platforms.
ORIIUM, established in 2007 by Chris Kiaie, has surpassed growth expectation after reaching 796% in the last 5 years. Now employing a team of 35 , the company relocated to larger premises in Wetherby at the end of last year.
For 2015, ORIIUM is aiming increase its team and revenues by over 30%.
