New homes in demand as last plot remains
New homes being built in Lyde Green have been snapped up by buyers with only one plot left for sale.
Located just north of Bristol and designed with modern living in mind, the homes have appealed to first-time buyers, young professionals and growing families. Now the developer behind the scheme is urging buyers to come forward and view the plans for the last remaining property before it’s too late.
Nicola Reed, sales and marketing director for Charles Church Severn Valley, said: “We don’t anticipate this four-bedroom detached home to be on the market for long. It’s a superb property that comes complete with its own garage. It’s the perfect place for a growing family to call home.
“Lyde Green has a lovely village feel and offers something very special for those living on the estate. It is therefore of no surprise that these energy-efficient homes have sold quickly and we would urge anyone looking to live here to hurry or they may be disappointed.
Lyde Green is located eight miles north of Bristol and 15 miles from Bath with good access to the M4, M5, M32 and M48.
Nicola added: “This new village does offer the best of both worlds with great local amenities, beautiful scenery and good commuter links.”
Schemes available to help buyers move into a new home, include the Government-backed Help to Buy. Under the shared equity scheme, buyers only need a 5% deposit and are eligible for a 20% loan on the term of a mortgage, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years. Part Exchange is also available.
