Tranmere Rovers' season ticket sales surpass £300k
Season ticket sales at Tranmere Rovers have surpassed £300k with just two weeks left for fans to renew or purchase.
The club is in the process of installing 2,000 new seats as well as adding a new section for disabled supporters in the Kop Stand.
A new scoreboard and improved PA system has also been installed.
New manager Gary Brabin has been hard at work in the close season, recruiting James Norwood, Liam Hogan, Martin Riley, Ritchie Sutton, Jay Harris and Lois Maynard, as well as securing Steven Jennings for a further year.
Chairman Mark Palios said: “We’re really grateful to all those supporters who have stuck by us and signed up for a season ticket for 2015-16.
“We want to come back stronger next season so there’s a huge amount of work taking place off the pitch all with the aim of making Prenton Park a place our fans can be proud of and want to bring their friends and family to.
“The positivity from our fans throughout the summer has been fantastic and we hope the changes we’ve made around Prenton Park will be something of a thank you for their ongoing support.
“We also have to thank the Tranmere Rovers Trust and the Tranmere Rovers Disabled Supporters Association, both of whom have helped make the improvements happen.”
