West Yorkshire’s Premier Technical Services Group acquires Pendrich and NATHS to support future growth plans

Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG), based in Castleford, has secured the acquisition of Pendrich Height Services Ltd and NATHS Ltd - steeplejack, rope access and working at height companies based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

PTSG acquired these two companies, for an undisclosed amount, after Acescott Management Services, another working at height specialist, joined the firm late last year.

PSTG has now significantly strengthened its reputation of being highly-acquisitive, something that is a key aspect of the company’s business plan.

Furthermore, in February, PTSG was admitted to AIM and on the first day of trading, the specialist service provider raised £8m. This money was set aside to fund further investment and development, such as the acquisitions of Pendrich and NATHS, to aid the group’s continuing growth.

As the market leader in its field, PTSG has recently been shortlisted for four categories of the PFM Awards 2015 – it is the most shortlisted company in the awards, which are seen as a highlight in the facilities management industry’s calendar.

Paul Teasdale, group CEO, said: “We are delighted to welcome Pendrich and NATHS as our latest additions to the group. These acquisitions enable us to extend our customer service offering within our Electrical Services division and provide our clients with the opportunity to further utilise PTSG as its Niche Specialist Service Provider.

“We are fully committed to the continuation of a successful strategy of achieving market leadership across the sectors in which we operate, and these acquisitions increase the exposure of our brand to new and existing clients as well as within Scotland.

“Although these are the first acquisitions by PTSG in ‘steeple jacking’, we have worked with and have good knowledge of Pendrich within our industry and, with our experience in successful integration and organic growth, we are excited about these latest acquisitions. This gives us another fantastic base from which to operate in Scotland and the companies have a first class reputation with their clients from which we can build upon. Many of you are already aware of Pendrich as we have worked alongside them previously. NATHS is its sister company which operates within the same field.

“Although these are new ventures for us, our track record clearly demonstrates we have the capability to enter new markets, understand them and maximise the opportunity for our business and for our customers. These companies add measurable value and, most importantly, give our existing customers and potential new clients the opportunity to bring all services into one place for control and good, solid customer service.

“We wish Pendrich and NATHS a warm welcome into the group of companies and look forward to working with them in the future.”
