Ast Transport Branding wins new contract with Britain’s largest power network
Cumbrian company Ast Transport Branding, a fleet and rail branding businesses, has won a three-year contract to provide vehicle livery to Britain’s largest power network, UK Power Networks, which has a vehicle fleet of over 3,000.
The contract will see Ast Transport Branding supply bespoke livery, designed in-house and manufactured at its headquarters in Penrith, for all of UK Power Networks’ commercial vehicles across London, the South East and the East of England.
Sales director for Ast Transport Branding, Stuart Day, said: “This is a really exciting contract to win as we were up against some really stiff competition.
“A contract of this size is of great benefit to the company, plus adds significantly to the thousand of vehicles we provide livery for on Britain’s roads each year.”
UK Power Networks is responsible for delivering electricity to 7.8 million homes and businesses in London, the South East and the East of England.
This latest win for Ast Transport Branding comes after its procurement last year of a significant contract with Electricity North West to supply livery for over 2,500 vehicles.
Ast Transport Branding was formed 13 years ago and now boasts a portfolio of clients including Tesco, Eddie Stobart, Royal Mail, Scotrail, Direct Rail Services, Speedy Hire, HSS Hire and Malcolm Group.
