Join the Dots recruits Mark MacNaughton from Tesco

Research agency Join the Dots welcomed Mark MacNaughton as an Account Development Director and Tim Burge as an Associate Director, this week.

Mark is an accomplished research professional, with extensive experience gained at market leading agencies and blue chip organisations. Mark joins from Tesco’s Strategic Insight team, where he delivered multichannel research for the general merchandise business. Previously, Mark has held roles at 2CV, ICM Research and Research International.

Tim has over 10 years’ experience in agency-side market research, with seven of those years spent in Australia. Tim has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands, including PepsiCo, Stella Artois and KFC. In the UK, Tim started his research career at Nunwood and most recently worked for Morrison’s.

Other recent starters include Research Directors Steven Marsh and Laura Hunt. Steven has a strong background across private and public clients, whilst Laura is a specialist in global pharmaceutical research. The pair have 20+ years’ experience collectively.

2015 has been a busy year so far for Join the Dots, with a successful first six months marked by achieving over 20% growth. Join the Dots received the AURA Insight Communication award for the fourth time and the MRS Best Overall Contribution to conference award as part of the ‘Empathy, Humanity, Happiness and Haulage’ session.

Managing Director, Quentin Ashby, commented, “Our continued growth helps us to attract the highest calibre of people to Join the Dots. We grew the business by 25% last year and we’re on track to hit a similar figure again, allowing us to recruit with confidence.”
