National Quality Mark equals National Recognition for BTA

To further demonstrate the quality of the services that they supply, the matrix standard has recently been awarded to BTA Ltd. which adds to their ever growing accolade of achievements.

The matrix standard is the international quality standard for organisations that deliver information, advice and/or guidance (IAG) either as their sole purpose or as part of their service offering. It helps providers to improve their services by benchmarking against best practice and it offers accreditation to those that meet the full standard.

The matrix Standard is an outcome-based standard. This means that an Assessor will look not only at processes used to support IAG delivery but also at results achieved. Kim English, company director said “ The standard is a requirement within the partnership contract of our ESF funding provider. However, in addition, BTA recognises the importance of acquiring appropriate accreditation to ensure that we are delivering our service to the highest standard“.

The matrix standard comprises of four elements, Leadership and Management, Resources, Service Delivery and Continuous Quality Improvement. Each element contains assessment criteria, all of which must be met to achieve accreditation. BTA’s assessment was conducted by EMQC one of the UK’s leading national organisational improvement and assessment companies who work in partnership with Government and other agencies to help deliver accreditation services for high-quality, performance-enhancing, national standards “We recognised that as a national standard this award would clearly indicate to external organisations and potential service users that the service we provide is of good quality. This would help to increase the likelihood of securing new or maintaining existing delivery contracts as well as attracting clients to our programmes” explained Colin Hastings company director.
