New £8.7m retirement scheme near Chester is completed

A new £8.7m development on Cable Drive, in Helsby near Chester, The Windings, has now been completed.

The development is a joint initiative between Your Housing Group, Cheshire West and Chester Council and the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), who contributed £460k of funding.

Head of group sales at Your Housing Group, Claire Henning, said: “The Windings completes our trio of retirement living villages delivered for local people in the Chester area.

“Altogether we have built 450 extra care apartments across the North West as part of our £150m affordable housing programme and we believe we have raised the bar in terms of the standard of accommodation we have provided for retired people in the area”
