Ringtons continues North West expansion with luxury hotel contract win

The food services division of North East-based tea and coffee merchant Ringtons is growing its presence in the North West following an account win with luxury accommodation operator Pennington Hotels.

Five luxury hotels and accommodation suites owned by the family-run group, have signed up to stock Ringtons Beverages’ bedroom beverage range which includes individual Fairtrade tag and envelope teas and infusions, cafetiere sachets, single coffee sticks, sugars and additional ancillaries.

The Pennington Hotel Group includes the historic 4-star AA graded Sella Park Hotel in Calderbridge, the award-winning Pennington Hotel in Ravenglass, Pooley Bridge Inn in Ullswater’s National Park, luxury accommodation suites at The Inn at Ravenglass, and Muncaster Castle’s Coachman’s Quarters B&B.

Having recently appointed a new business development manager Gloria Sanchez in the west coast of the country, Ringtons Beverages is enjoying a period of growth in the region with new account wins also including the Haig Pit and Mining Museum and the Daffodil Hotel in Grasmere.

“Gloria from Ringtons Beverages came along at the right time, and introduced us to the business-to-business side of the company.

“We liked the design and quality of the single serve items and we knew with Ringtons we’d be getting great service and great products which fit perfectly with the high standards and styling of our venues.

“We are delighted to be offering guests Ringtons tea and coffees and look forward to further growing our relationship with Ringtons in the future. “

Ringtons operates a traditional doorstep delivery service from a base in Cumbria whereby it delivers tea, coffee, biscuits, gifts and more to homes throughout the region.

The Ringtons Beverages B2B division has been operating for over 30 years; supplying leading hotels, restaurants, cafes and businesses with the highest quality tea, coffee, catering supplies, espresso and bean to cup equipment as well as professional barista training and venue design services.
