Sports Tours International, the UK’s leading independent sports tour operator, has partnered up with Sixt rent a car as the Official Vehicle Provider for its 10K running events.
A leading vehicle rental company in the North-West and across the UK, Sixt rent a car will be the official provider of vehicles for the Decathlon We Love Manchester 10k which takes place on Sunday 12th July, the City of Salford 10k on Sunday 6th September and The Grand 10k run at Aintree Racecourse on Sunday 20th September.
Commenting on the partnership, Beth Roberts, Manchester Branch Manager of Sixt rent a car, said: “We are delighted to team up with Sports Tours International on the upcoming Great North-West runs.
“We are thrilled to be offered such a great opportunity to support such an outstanding sporting event as well as being given the chance to support local charities and associations.”
The vehicles provided will help to transport the large amount of equipment needed for the events, including sound equipment, race goody bags and the event marketing material and merchandise.
Chris Bird, Chief Executive of Sports Tours International, who organise the races, added: “It’s great that we have secured a partnership with Sixt rent a car, their knowledge and expertise will ensure that we receive a fantastic service for all three races.
