Worksop Chartered Accountants win yet another global award

A local firm of Chartered Accountants is celebrating winning yet another award, firmly propelling them onto the global stage.

John Harrison and Company, based on Carlton Road, Worksop has won the Tax Reform Specialists of the Year – United Kingdom’ award in the Finance Monthly Global Awards - ranking them as one of the best in the highly competitive UK finance industry.

The 2015 Finance Monthly Global Awards celebrate the success, innovation and quality of firms working in, and with, the financial and legal sectors across the globe. John Harrison and Company won the United Kingdom award for the work they have done in reforming the work practising accountants do for their clients.

They have created a powerful Financial Management System which provides a ‘back office’ finance department for owner managed businesses which have several accounting programmes linked together and automates the whole process of purchase invoice recording and supplier payments; sales invoice generation and debt collecting; direct daily steaming of bank transactions straight into the accounts software and delivers easy to understand financial accounts directly to a user’s smart phone in real time.
