New Thirsk Office Enjoys Immediate Success

DACRE, Son & Hartley’s recently opened Thirsk office is immediately having a positive impact on the local property market after winning a string of new instructions and selling a home for more than its asking price in less than 24 hours.

The office opened in April in a prominent position on Castlegate and is already marketing a wide range of properties ranging from residential and commercial investment opportunities in the town centre through to large family homes in Thirsk’s surrounding villages.

In another coup, the office’s sales and marketing manager Tracey Wrigglesworth and sales negotiator William Staveley have successfully generated three offers for a three bedroom, semi-detached property just outside Boroughbridge, within 24 hours of bringing it to the market.

William says: “This property is a well-presented, traditional bay fronted house on Springfield Road which is a convenient residential area just a short walk from Boroughbridge town centre. There’s a shortage of these types of homes on the market and we were able to contact a number of potential buyers from our database immediately, who we knew would be interested in the home. We arranged six viewings on the first day and three of those resulted in offers. The one that was accepted was for more than its £239,950 asking price, which is a superb result for both our client and the buyer.”

Tracey adds: “Since opening in Thirsk, just over two months ago, we’ve hit the ground running and we’re quickly establishing good stock levels across all price brackets and both enquiries and market activity are increasing week on week.

“The sale of this property on Springfield Road demonstrates the level of demand in the market for high quality homes that are realistically priced. There are plenty of buyers out there waiting for the right home to hit the market so we would urge anyone considering selling in Thirsk, Boroughbridge and the surrounding towns and villages, to contact us immediately for a free no obligation market appraisal.”
