Insolvency advisors Northpoint expand to Business Central Darlington
Northpoint, the business restructuring and insolvency advisors, has taken office space at the new state of the art Business Central office development in Darlington, adding to their Newcastle upon Tyne location.
Greg Whitehead formed the firm in 2004 after 15 years with KPMG and Deloitte in the North East. Northpoint works with companies in financial difficulty from issues including a downturn in trading, cash flow problems, creditor pressure or a legal action.
Advice is often provided in conjunction with existing professional advisors to the business. Greg and his colleague Simon Lundy, a long standing member of the North East professional community, lead delivery of services with over 55 years combined experience.
Greg said: “in what are often difficult times for the people in the business concerned we look to provide professional, understanding and pragmatic advice.
“Our advisory role usually leads to an outcome that sees the business survive, sometimes through a refinancing/restructuring process, although we can implement a formal insolvency process if required.
“The excellent facilities at Business Central Darlington will allow us to provide a more comprehensive service in the Tees Valley area”
