Green light for major industrial park near Wrotham
Gallagher Properties, part of Gallagher Group, has been given the green light to start work on what could be a new home for up to 15 businesses.
The Maidstone-based property company has secured planning permission from Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council to develop several industrial warehouse units with trade counters at Nepicar Park, on the A20, close to Junction 2a of the M26, near Wrotham.
Formally known as The Poplars, the new units at Nepicar Park are located for businesses needing quick access to the M20, M25 and the national motorway network.
Nick Yandle of Gallagher Properties, said: “We have already had a strong level of interest in the units. With the continuing economic upturn and the lack of supply of good quality units, we have the confidence to invest speculatively in the construction of this new development. We anticipate work commencing the third quarter of this year and being complete by the second quarter of 2016.”
The buildings will be built as ‘developer shell’ to allow occupiers to fit them out to their specific requirements. The units have allocated loading and parking areas, and will be available on a freehold or leasehold basis.
