Industrial giant turns to Warrington for web solution
When US-based industrial giant Curtiss-Wright wanted a new website to encompass its market leading brands, it looked away from America’s internet hubs and towards Warrington and digital agency Dreamscape.
Dreamscape was launched in 2004 by Bernard McCabe, who has worked on contracts with big name brands including Mercedes, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Nissan, Peugeot and the NHS, and now has a team of eight creative professionals providing full service agency solutions to a diverse range of clients.
Curtiss-Wright, which can trace its history back to Orville and Wilbur Wright’s era-defining first flight in 1903, provides a wide range of industrial products for the commercial, defence and power sectors.
Curtiss-Wright’s Industrial Division, which operates across the globe and has facilities in Germany, China, Taiwan, UK, USA and India, approached Dreamscape to build a website covering its four leading control systems brands; Arens Controls, Penny & Giles, PG Drives Technology and Williams Controls.
Dreamscape constructed a bespoke package for Curtiss-Wright including an all-new website at www.cw-industrialgroup.com, e-marketing, system development and search engine optimisation.
Curtiss-Wright Industrial Division Senior Vice President & General Manager Kevin Rayment said: “Our completely redesigned internet presence highlights the Industrial division’s full breadth of products and capabilities and, for the first time, provides a single location and cohesive overview that we expect will deliver a positive and user-friendly experience for all visitors. The new website will enhance the image of the Curtiss-Wright Industrial division to existing customers and serve to attract many new ones to its businesses.”
Dreamscape founder Bernard McCabe said: “Our philosophy is to place the client’s requirements at the centre of what we do and create bespoke solutions which provide tangible results, and that’s what we have achieved for Curtiss-Wright.
“It’s great news for Warrington that a major US corporation has chosen a digital agency in the North West to build such a huge part of their presence in the marketplace.”
