Perfect Image to bring big cloud computing names to the North East

IT consultancy Perfect Image is hosting a free insight event for business owners and technical leaders across the North East, bringing big names in cloud computing to the area.

Drawing on its experience as a fast growing member of the Amazon Web Services’ Consulting Partner Network, the Newcastle-based company will give a workshop on true cloud computing and its business benefits to companies of all sectors, shapes and sizes, at the specially created ‘Amazon and the Cloud’ event.

Andrew Robson, CEO of Perfect Image, said: “We were delighted with the attendance at our customer day last year. It was a full-on event covering all aspects of the tailored IT solutions we deliver to organisations across the UK, helping them to improve their businesses through the effective use of IT.

“Building on this success, we felt it would be beneficial to our customers to separate out the different technical elements of the solutions we deliver, to offer them a greater insight into how these technologies can be applied to their business to return tangible results.”

The Amazon and the Cloud event is free to attend and will take place on Wednesday 15th July between 12.30pm and 4.00pm at the Cloud Innovation Centre in The Core, Science Central.

The afternoon has been organised in partnership with Newcastle University’s Cloud Innovation Centre and together with Perfect Image they will welcome guest speaker Ian Massingham, a Technical Evangelist at Amazon Web Services.

During the sessions, delegates will learn about how applications can be easily created in or moved to a true cloud environment with AWS, illustrated with live demonstrations and Q&A sessions. As well as the capabilities of AWS, delegates will also learn how AWS is helping business to transform to remain competitive
