Titanic deal for AV technical suppliers MSP Global

Audio visual technical and event staging specialists MSP Global have secured a partnership arrangement with Liverpool’s Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse.

MSP Global provides an extensive range of technical and additional services, including include large-screen projection, live web streaming, uplink facilities on-site for broadcast, and live tweet content management software.

It also has a division dedicated to helping clients from first concept through to the manufacture of staging.

The firm will support corporate and private events at the hotel and its adjacent event space which has capacity for 1,000 guests.

Titanic Hotel, an independently-run four star hotel on the city’s Stanley Dock, comprises 153 large bedrooms, Rum Warehouse events and exhibition space, restaurant, Rum Bar and Spa.

Designed by Jesse Hartley and built in 1855 the warehouse building has been renamed in recognition of the city’s connection to the famous liner as well as its links to the Titanic Visitor Centre in Belfast.

Kerry Smith, the hotel’s sales and marketing director, said: “At Rum Warehouse and Titanic Hotel we deal with clients both regionally, nationally and internationally so it’s been fantastic to find a local supplier who can meet the demands of our vast array of events, exhibitions and conferences and maintain our high standards of delivery.”

An additional benefit of the deal is that MSP Global has extended expand its Apprenticeship Training Scheme with the creation of more jobs. The scheme offers technical education for aspiring technicians seeking to work in the conference and events industry.
