Derby Based Colt Engineering 'Take Delivery' Of New M&E Project

Derby based Colt Engineering is nearing completion on a prestigious contract to renew the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) installation work at the 150,000 sq ft renovation of the National Distribution Centre in Rotherham.

The National Distribution Centre, based in Maltby, is a storage facility which is hoping to attract new occupiers once the works are complete.

Colt Engineering secured the work back in March through an existing client of theirs and have worked efficiently and effectively to deliver the project to budget and to programme.

The Pride Park based firm is now in negotiation to secure M&E works to undertake improvement to their client’s existing estate.

Managing Director at Colt Engineering, Simon Colton, said: “We were delighted to have secured this contract and we have enjoyed working with the other members of the contract team to deliver a first class service.

“Under the new contract, we will be renewing all M&E services, including installing new energy efficient LED lighting to the offices and warehouse, LPHW heating system, general power and public health services.
