PCS prepares Elegant Resorts for take off

Leading plastic card manufacturer, Plastic Card Services (PCS), has supported Elegant Resorts, the UK’s leading luxury tour operator, in providing membership cards for its exclusive Chairman’s Club, following a company rebrand.

PCS was contracted to develop a new design for the four types of membership cards that the company offers its invitation only Chairman’s Club. This latest project brings the number of cards PCS has manufactured for Elegant Resorts to more than 10,000.

Chairman’s Club members have access to a list of enhanced and exclusive benefits, including the ability to earn credits towards their future bookings, complimentary UK airport lounge passes and exclusive offers for hotels and resorts worldwide.

Elegant Resorts, situated in Chester, is renowned for its high-end client base, so it was essential for PCS to manufacture cards that were of an exceptional standard, while also distinguishing between the membership levels. To do this, PCS used a black tint with a gold, silver and platinum metallic coating to differentiate the cards.

Paul Hansford, national account manager at PCS, said: “We have a long standing relationship with Elegant Resorts so it was great to support its rebrand and to provide its members with premium cards that reflect their loyalty.”

“This year, with the help of our design team at Elegant Resorts, along with Sally Booth, head of brand, and, of course, with the knowledge of Paul Hansford and his colleagues at PCS, we have produced the best looking cards to-date to showcase the membership programme.”

The project is an extension of the eight-year partnership, which has seen the client base rise from 700 to nearly 1,500 since its launch in 2007.
